Performance estimates are planning ranges, not promises.
PCLift uses stored performance references to help compare upgrade options. A range is more honest than a single number because a real PC and game session has variables the planner cannot fully control.
Why actual performance can vary
- Game version, scene, patches, and background activity.
- Graphics settings, ray tracing, upscaling, frame generation, and resolution.
- Driver and operating system versions.
- Processor, memory, storage, cooling, and other components in the existing rig.
- Temperature, power limits, firmware, and system configuration.
Use the estimate to compare trade-offs
Read a range as a reason to investigate an option, not as a guarantee of a specific result. Compare it with the selected target, the cost context, and the compatibility signals. If the plan has missing details or lower confidence, verify more of the existing machine before deciding.
Before purchase checklist
- Confirm the exact part model and the performance settings that matter to you.
- Check independent reviews relevant to your games and target resolution.
- Confirm power, physical fit, platform support, and cooling requirements.
- Check retailer availability, return policy, and current checkout price.
- Keep a second option if price or stock changes the decision.
Important: PCLift does not guarantee frame rate, game behavior, or outcomes for an individual PC.
